Spring 2013

Seeing as Spring is forever coming closer, I though I'd share with you some of the trends I like that will be appearing.

Black and white will be a popular trend this spring, which is a change from the classic pastels we normally see everywhere. Some of my favourites are from Moschino and Marc Jacobs collections (image number 2 and number 3).

Mesh will be a popular choice of fabric this spring, whether it's mesh socks or a mesh dress. My favourites are Jason Wu and Catherine Malandrino (image number 1 and number 4).

Statement Sunglasses will be another 'biggy' this spring, which I am actually quite pleased about, because I quite like these. My favourite pair are from Diane Von Furstenberg (image number 4, 3rd picture).

Short Suits will make an appearance this spring, and I actually love them. My favourite one is from Tory Burch (image number 1) which is stunning in my opinion.

White  clothing will probably be my favourite fashion trend this spring, seeing as I love white clothing. It's just so fresh and clean. My favourite pieces here are from BCBG Max Azria and Giambattista Valli (images 2 and 4).

What do you think your favourite trends will be this Spring?

Snow day!

It's a snow day! I actually don't have that much snow where I live, but most of it seemed to gather on the trees and bushes, which is why I've only taken pictures of trees and bushes. None the less, I still have a day off school to relax which is perfect. I took most of these pictures from my living room window, except for the first two.

Do you have a snow day? Is there much where you live?

Favourite Moisturizing Products

In these cold, nippy days my skin gets really dry, so I need some good moisturizing products to help me get through these days. So without further ado, here are the products I use every day.

Gilly Hicks Calla Bluff Body Lotion - This is an amazingly moisturizing body lotion and has the added bonus that it smells AMAZING! Smelling strongly of pineapples, this scent lingers on my skin throughout the day, which I love. This is a lovely body lotion.

Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter - This is perfect for rubbing on your heels, elbows and cuticles in the dryer, colder days. This smells of lemons, obviously, and is a very nourishing product which I love.

Marks and Spencer's Coco Bean Body Butter  - Don't be fooled by the fact that this product is from Marks and Spnecers. Although not the priciest product in the world, it really is very moisturizing and smells amazing. What I love most about it is that the smell lasts on my skin all day long without budging. Love it.

Alison Claire Mango Body Butter - First of all, i actually really like the pump on this, making it very easy to dispense without having to dig your nails in a pot. The smell is amazing; pure mango. Very moisturizing and thick.

The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Hand Cream - This winter is the first winter that my hands have been very dry, cracking at the knuckles. I was in desperate need of a good hand cream, and stumbled upon this one whilst online shopping. This is prefect for moisturizing and I absolutely love it.

Glossybox January

First of all, sorry this is a little late, I just hadn't got round to taking any pictures of my box, and second of all, I apologize about the lighting. I really wasn't all that impressed when I opened this months Glossybox, mainly because everything looked so small and not all that exciting. But when I actually got round to smelling and trying the products out, they weren't all that bad.

Duck Island Limited Body Lotion - This is a very smooth body lotion which applies like a dream on my skin and really moisturizes. It smells like a combination of mandarin and bergamot, both of which I love.

Elemis Fresh Skin Glow Facial Exfoliator - I have yet to try this out, but am really looking forward to doing so. It smells gorgeous with a fresh scent of mandarin and aniseed coming through. I'll be using this during my next pampering session.

Premae Skincare Balance Rescue Face Tonique - I love how fresh this makes my skin after using it. This is supposed to cut through dirt and excess oil to close pores without stripping skin of its natural oils. I haven't been using it for very long so I hope to see some results in the next few days.

Monu Aromatic Mask - This is another product I haven't yet tried, but cannot wait to do so. It smells of tee tree oil, which to me is such a refreshing scent. This will also be joining me during my next pampering session.

Jason Lips Bee Healthier - This is my favourite product in this months box. I apply this every chance I get, it's so nice! To me it smells exactly like After Eights, which I love! It's so refreshing and minty. I love it!

There was also a bonus Glossybox sleep mask, which isn't my taste of design, but may come in handy on a sleepless night where I need to block out all substance of light.

What did you think of this months Glossybox?

Model Material

Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne is a name that those who are interested in the fashion world have heard of frequently in the past month or so. She is all over fashion magazines, the catwalk and pretty much anything fashion related. Cara is a British model from London and ages 20 years old. In my opinion, I can totally see what the whole hype is about.

I think Cara Delevingne is absolutely beautiful. What do you think?

Favourite Hair Products

Recently I've been loving a collection of hair products and am constantly using them. Here they are:

The Body Shop Rainforest Shine Shampoo and Conditioner - This shampoo and conditioner is amazing. First of all, it smells divine - a mixture of bananas and olives. It makes my hair so shiny, like no other shampoo and conditioner I've ever tried before and plus there's the added bonus of there being no silicones, no colourants and no parabens. It's a win win!

Maghrabian Oil Treatment for all Hair Types - I love this oil. The scents is so relaxing and lovely in my opinion. I massage this into my hair and let it rest for about half an hour before washing it out. This does wonders for my hair and I love it. The only problem is I can't seem to find where to get some more as I was sent this in my Glossybox. If anyone knows where to find it, please let me know.

Mark Hill De-Friss Shine Serum - This is amazing for any frizzy hair! I use this straight after I've blow dried my hair and on a humid day. I'm prone to slight frizziness on the top of my head and throughout my hair, although admittedly not as bad as some people. This makes any traces of frizz disappear after just one to two drops.

TRESemme Heat Defence Styling Spray - This product is a really nice heat defence. It smells really nice (the classic TRESemme scent), and isn't in the least bit sticky, which I love. It's very easy to spray onto my hair and lasts a good six months if you're like me and don't style your hair with heat every day.

Elite Professionnel Comb - I don't usually get on with combs because my hair is so thick and can get very knotty. But because of the wide gaps between the teeth, I get along very well with this. I actually bought this in France, so cannot tell you where to get this particular comb from, but there are many like these around the place.

Hair Cips with Interlocking Teeth - I actually forgot to take a separate picture of these clips, but you can see them in the first picture. These are just so easy to clip your hair on the top of your hair when straightening or curling layers of hair.
